Two core boreholes will be conducted during the first week of May. The Company mainly drill for copper and rare earth elements (REE).
The drillings is performed on Holmasjön Prospekterings exploration permit Kallmora No 3 to investigate which minerals and rates resulted in the substantial magnetic and electric anomalies the company surveyed in the fall of 2020.
The SGU (Sweden Geological Survey) have close to one of the holes found up to 1,3% of copper, 49,8% of iron and several rare earth elements in slagheaps from surrounding mines. The rare earth elements are used in among others in electric motors and electronics such as mobile phones and computers. One of the rare earth elements SGU found is neodymium (Nd) 116 000 USD/ ton.
With good results from the drilling the company will discuss if an electric I.P. survey will be conducted over the anomalies to get a clearer picture of the anomalies and depth sensing toward 1000 meters or if the company will directly move on to a mayor drilling program to investigate mineral rates across the entirety of the anomalies.
CEO Carl-Adam Anderssons comment
” It is gratifying that the drilling has started. It is with great excitement I look forward to the results. The Results will be presented in a near future.”
